The buzzing street life of New Your City can now be seen from a birds-eye view! The famous Empire State Building is opening its’ 102nd-floor observatory to the public, offering 360-degree views of the City that never sleeps. Visitors will enter a glass elevator on the 86th floor leading to the needle, where vantage points of iconic landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, and even Manhattan will be visible.
The CEO of Empire State Realty Trust, Anthony E. Malkin, pronounced his excitement for this new installation atop the world-famous landmark: “The design and structural work highlights not only the external views but the historical elegance of the Empire State Building. The 102nd floor is an enclosed, climate-controlled all-weather observation deck. Guests get a sneak peek of the breathtaking views before stepping onto the observations deck. The panoramic observatory is comprised of 24 windows with views beyond the heart of New York City.”
